Well established methods in how to prepare the body mind breath energy and spirit to enable the essential qualities of relaxation and meditation will be explored.

Regulate and release the mind.
Regulate and release the energy.
Regulate and release the spirit.

 

Through awareness and the skill of observation we are able to recognise unnecessary tension in mind and body and begin first to regulate or control in perpetration for a more profound release and letting go into the depths of meditation/relaxation.
 

The practice of Seated meditation.. just as it is… In silent illumination forms the mainstay of a formal practice but we can also practice with awareness and observation within other key positions to include standing, walking and lying down.

There are many methods of meditation and it is up to each individual to find a path which suits but many of the practical preparations for meditation relating to the body posture, breathing, energy flow and mind are universal such that we can explore these areas as part of our movement modalities.
