Yoga
Each title can be taken as a day or weekend course
Variation and modification within asana practice.
The importance of counterpose for a balanced safe and healthy practice.
The dynamic Web (The dynamic of…opposing forces from centre re integration and
connection within the fascial web directed by the mind through clear intent).
Arthrokinematics (exploring through mind and body the important multi directional movement between the bones of major joints to help improve movement quality in asana).
Understanding and freeing the major joints of the body through knowledge palpation
skills massage and movement…to include.
The Foot and relationship to the ankle and lower limb.
The knee and relationship with lower and upper limbs.
The Pelvis and relationship with the hip joint ilium and sacrum.
The Spine (structure and function of lumbar, thoracic and cervical segments relative to facet joint orientation).
Movement of the spine in relation to structure and function of its parts will be the building blocks to then explore the interdependent and balanced relationship of the wave like movement of the spinal curves.
The three Sphere’s (head, ribs & pelvis).
The interdependent relationship of the three sphere’s with their connection to the spine in movement will be explored.
All the above are covered separately in a day or weekend workshop.
Static and Dynamic exploring the different qualities in mind body and breath between a practice focused on continuous flow as opposed to (relative) static asana, and the integration of both into one.
Living Anatomy
Understanding Anatomy through the development of palpation skills first on oneself and then applying that skill in the art and science of touch with others for the enhancement of Yoga practice.
Anatomy and beyond
Further development of palpation with integrity in looking at skilful and safe ways of using touch with others during the practice of specific Asana’s to encourage the body mind and breath to open and release with awareness sensitivity and care.
The Chakras
A fresh open and humble investigation of the Traditional Chakras without any conceptual pre conceived ideas to help clear the way for a very personal investigation into the subtle nature of these energy centres.
Through the integration of mind body breath energy and spirit we will sit with these centres and prepare the ground for our truth in whatever form to emerge.
Mind the Gap
With awareness and presence we will mind the space within the pause.
Between one thought and the next.
Between one feeling and the next.
Between one breath and the next.
Between one movement and the next.
The pause is a powerful moment to stop and observe any of the subtle effects between one action and the next.The pause is also an opportunity to allow any manifestation and fixation of Form to dissipate into the open space of the Formless.
Daoist Yoga

Tibetan healing exercises
